Our curriculum
is based on accepted theories of child development.
In each stage of life children take on special developmental tasks and
challenges related to their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive
development. For infants and toddlers, development occurs in all of
these areas as they use their senses to gain a sense of security and
identity and to explore the objects in their world. The key to meeting
the developmental needs of infants and toddlers can be found in the
responsive relationships children build with the important adults in
their lives.
The process that is
used on a daily basis at our center includes strategies for
setting up the environment, selecting toys and materials, interacting
with children, and planning activities.
